1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Village mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Services Provided
Village provides a platform that connects users with local rental listings. The App acts solely as a venue; we are not a party to any agreements entered into between users.
3. User Accounts
Registration: You may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to use this App.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the App to:
• Violate any laws or regulations.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Upload viruses or malicious code.
• Attempt to reverse engineer the App.
5. User-Generated Content
Ownership: You retain ownership of content you post (photos, listings, reviews).
License: By posting content, you grant Village a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly display, and distribute your content on the App.
Moderation: We have the right (but not the obligation) to remove any content that violates these Terms.
6. Payments and Fees
Fees: Certain features may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Processing: Payments are processed via third-party gateways (e.g., Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not store your full credit card information.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Village and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
